Businesses across Mangaung that have not yet registered for the municipality’s special waste collection service are being encouraged to do so as municipal compliance and registration teams continue visiting business premises.
According to the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality, the ongoing registration process aims to ensure businesses are compliant while supporting a cleaner, better-regulated city.
The municipality said businesses that have already registered and cooperated with compliance officials are contributing to improved service delivery, fair business practices and sustainable economic growth.
Businesses that have not yet completed the registration process are encouraged to register when municipal officials visit their premises.
The municipality added that the registration drive forms part of efforts to create an environment where businesses can operate responsibly while helping to maintain a clean and healthy city.
“By registering your businesses and working with municipal officials, you are contributing to improved service delivery, fair business practices, and sustainable economic growth within our city.”
Business owners are encouraged to engage with municipal compliance and registration teams during their visits to ensure they are registered for the special waste collection service and meet the municipality’s requirements.
Business owners can visit the Gabriel Dichabe Building, office 208 for more information.
